ROBOTICS
Robots are entering nearly every aspect of our lives. Today’s version is AI–empowered, allowing them to learn on their own, operate solo or in swarms, walk on two legs, balance on two wheels, drive, swim, fly and even backflip. Today Robots do jobs that are dull, dirty or dangerous.
Healthcare: Advances in robotics have the potential to change a wide variety of healthcare practices, such as surgery, rehabilitation, therapy, patient companionship, and everyday activities.
Manufacturing: Robotics is being used in many aspects of manufacturing like assembly, welding, painting, materials handling, picking & sorting, etc., to help increase productivity and efficiency while lowering production costs.
Agriculture: Autonomous systems are deployed for operations like pruning, mowing, spraying & weed removal
Logistics: Robots in the form of drones are increasingly being used for disaster relief and delivery of medical supplies. e-Commerce giants are at advanced stages of making drone-based deliveries a reality soon.
